Team tennis on a clock. Fast-paced, competitive and social, and now in Van Nuys.
What is INTENNSE?
INTENNSE is a team tennis format built for pace. Same ball, same net, same court, but everything around the point is different. Two co-ed teams go head-to-head in short, timed matches of singles and doubles, and every point you win counts for your team.
The team with the most points at the end takes it. Music on, teammates cheering, no shushing.
How it works
Timed matches. Play runs on a clock, not sets, so the action never stalls.
Simple scoring. Each point is 1 point for your team. A clean winner is worth 2.
One serve only. Miss it and you lose the point.
Play the let. If the serve clips the net and lands in, the point is live.
14 seconds between points. Quick turnarounds keep everyone moving.
It is a team sport. You play for your teammates, and they are loud about it.
OUR FIRST EVENT
INTENNSE Tennis Social
When: Saturday, 4–6 PM. Date coming soon.
Who: Only 16 players, level 4.0 and up.
Price: $70 per player. Includes event entry, team T-shirt, water and snacks.
Where: Mika's Tennis Academy, 16600 Vanowen St, Van Nuys.
The format. 16 players split into 2 teams of 8 and compete head-to-head across five match types: women's singles, men's singles, women's doubles, men's doubles and mixed doubles.
Win and get on the leaderboard. The winning team will be featured on the official INTENNSE Tennis leaderboard.
