Meet Anna

Anna Sakvarelidze is the driving force behind the experience, structure, and community that define Mikas Tennis Academy.

With a background in real estate, design, and business operations, Anna brings a unique perspective to the academy—one that goes far beyond scheduling classes. She understands how to build systems, create environments people love being in, and turn a simple sports facility into a place where families connect, stay, and grow together.

Before stepping into the world of tennis, Anna co-ran a high-end French catering and events company, producing luxury experiences for private clients and large-scale events. This background shaped her eye for detail, hospitality, and atmosphere—skills that are now felt throughout the academy, from its events to its welcoming lounge spaces.

Anna’s passion for community extends far beyond business. As a long-time member of Rotary International and a Past President of her local Rotary Club, she has spent years dedicated to philanthropy, service, and creating meaningful impact. This commitment is reflected in her work with the MTA Youth Sports Foundation, where she helps expand access to tennis and pickleball for children who may not otherwise have the opportunity.

Behind the scenes, Anna is also part of a strong family team. Alongside her husband, Julien—founder of LIS Remodeling—they have brought the physical vision of the academy to life. From the design and construction of the lounge areas to the overall beautification of the space, their combined efforts have transformed the academy into a place that feels both elevated and inviting.

While Mika focuses on developing players on the court, Anna focuses on everything around it—ensuring that every detail, from programs to communication to events, reflects the academy’s values and vision.

As a mother who homeschools her children, Anna deeply understands the importance of creating a safe, positive, and enriching environment for kids. This perspective plays a key role in shaping the academy’s family-friendly culture, where parents feel comfortable and children feel supported.

Anna’s strength lies in bringing vision to life. She doesn’t just support the academy—she creates the experience behind it.

For Anna, it’s not just about running a business.

It’s about building something meaningful, together.
