COURT RULES

Proper Footwear

✔ Non-marking tennis or court shoes only
🚫 No running shoes, street shoes, or aggressive tread
Final approval at staff discretion

Court Use & Scheduling

  • Courts are for scheduled classes, lessons, rentals, and approved play only

  • Please exit the court promptly at the end of your reserved time

  • No unauthorized coaching or private lessons without academy approval

Player Safety

  • Warm up before play and stay hydrated

  • Stop play immediately if courts become unsafe (wet surface, debris, etc.)

  • Players must follow coach and staff instructions at all times

Respect the Courts

  • Do not drag benches, chairs, or equipment across the court

  • No hitting balls against fences or nets

  • Please report any damage to staff immediately

Food & Drinks

✔ Water and sports drinks allowed (in sealed containers)
🚫 No food, gum, candy, or glass containers on court
🚫 No spilling liquids on the playing surface

Equipment Guidelines

  • Tennis balls only (no training balls unless approved by a coach)

  • Return academy equipment after use

  • Personal ball baskets and training aids require staff approval

Children & Supervision

  • Children must remain under adult supervision at all times

  • No running, biking, or playing on courts unless enrolled in a program

  • Siblings not participating must stay off active courts

Spectators & Seating

  • Spectators must remain outside the court fence

  • Please use designated seating areas

  • Keep walkways clear at all times

PETS

🚫 Pets are not permitted on tennis or pickleball courts at any time.

✔ Pets are welcome on the property only if kept on a leash at all times
✔ Pets must remain outside court fencing and away from active play areas

Conduct & Sportsmanship

  • Respect coaches, staff, players, and guests

  • No foul language, aggressive behavior, or racket throwing

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in removal from the court

Weather & Court Conditions

  • Courts may close due to weather, heat, or maintenance

  • Please follow staff guidance regarding playability

  • Court use during closures is not permitted

Lost & Found

  • Personal belongings are the responsibility of the owner

  • Items left behind will be placed in lost & found for a limited time

Final Authority

Mikas Tennis Academy reserves the right to:

  • Enforce all court rules

  • Deny court access for safety or policy violations

  • Update policies as needed to protect players and facilities
