Cancellation

& make-up policy

 
 

At Mikas Tennis Academy, we do our best to offer flexibility while keeping our programs fair and consistent for all players. Please review our updated policy below:

 Group Classes

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a group class.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or no-shows, forfeit the class and won’t get a make-up credit.

  • Make-up classes are offered only if space is available in another group of the same level.

  • Make-up credits issued for missed group classes expire after 3 months.

  • Make-up credits cannot be used toward camps, but can be shared with friends or family members.

  • We have classes for all ages and levels, so you’ll always find a fun option to use your credit!

 Private Lessons

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a private lesson.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged in full.

  • Make-ups are subject to the coach’s availability and must be used within 30 days of the original lesson date.

 Camps & Special Programs

  • A minimum of 48 hour notice is required for any camp cancellation or reschedule request.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Camp credits may be used for a future camp if space allows and must be approved by the Academy.

 Holidays & Weather Cancellations

  • We do not prorate monthly tuition for holidays or weather-related cancellations.

  • When Mikas Tennis Academy cancels a class due to a holiday or bad weather, you’ll receive a make-up credit equal to the value of one class.

  • These make-up credits never expire and can be used toward:

    • Any future class or camp

    • A friend, family member, or adult class participant

  • To redeem or transfer a credit, simply email info@mikastennisacademy.com and let us know how you’d like to use it.

 Vacation, Illness, or Schedule Conflicts

  • If you cancel a class due to vacation, schedule conflict, or sickness, and do so within the required notice period (24 hours for group / 48 hours for private), you’ll receive a make-up credit.

  • These make-up credits expire after 3 months and can be used only toward group classes.

  • Credits may be shared with friends or family members — just email our office to confirm the transfer.

 Payment & Credits

  • All programs must be paid in advance to secure your spot.

  • Credits are issued only when proper notice is given, as outlined above.

  • Credits cannot be converted to cash and may not be used retroactively.

 How to Request a Make-Up

To request a make-up or apply a credit, please contact us directly at info@mikastennisacademy.com. We’ll confirm availability and send you a confirmation once your make-up is scheduled.
